The beginning of the journey...

We've finished the core of the IMBA program and are now beginning the "Chinese track" of this three year program. It has been an amazing journey so far, full of challenging classes, new friendships, and life-long memories. The next 18 months, beginning February 25th is going to take place in Beijing and Shanghai, China. This blog is the story of the journey, beginning with Day 1 of Mandarin Chinese class:



I've already spent a few years learning Chinese as well as 6 months in China, so this class session brought back memories of my first days learning the odd-sounding language. It is so bizarre how one becomes accustomed to the foreign sounds, and the seemingly impossible Chinese pronunciation becomes second nature within months. I'm so proud of my classmates that are just beginning. I know they are going to do great in Beijing and I can't wait to get there to experience it with them!
